Interior design is almost always more than just picking the right color

For years, the cramped home office was tucked under the eaves, and the guest room occupied the adjacent room which featured a view of the harbor. One room was seldom used by the homeowners; the other was a daily work center – neither was meeting the designer’s creed of Form Follows Function.
