PAT’S BACKGROUND

Pat Finn’s circuitous route to a design career has inspired her tireless passion to transform spaces into comfortable, beautiful homes. She grew up in Beverly Cove in an entrepreneurial family that has been involved in real estate sales and construction on Boston’s North Shore for more than 50 years.

A degree in economics from Smith College led to a job in consulting, which led to a business trip to The Netherlands where she met her husband (cute story!), and a stint in the corporate world in New Jersey lasted long enough for her to realize that wasn’t for her. Proximity to New York City led to a career change and a design degree from the New York School of Interior Design. It’s here that Pat found her true calling in life and started Finn-Martens Design in 2001. 

The firm's design concepts are based on many years of knowledge and experience with homes and property values, and Pat feels fortunate to be continuing to pursue her passion while living in Beverly Farms. Her style is classic, timeless and she truly believes that her clients should feel happy to come home. Pat is a good listener who welcomes her clients’  collaboration in creating their dream space.
